Senior Vice President Operations

Description:

Jessup Manufacturing Company has over 50 years of manufacturing experience creating, converting and laminating specialized, high performance, films and adhesive coatings for visual warning tapes, bonding solutions and other pressure sensitive tape products designed to protect premise and increase productivity. We are a dynamic, innovative company with aggressive growth plans to double the business in the next five years.

We are seeking a Senior Vice President of Operations with experience in managing and leading change in all major aspects of manufacturing; process and product engineering, quality control, research and development, supply chain management, product technology, logistics, production planning, scheduling and maintenance. This individual will be a key member of our senior management team and the driver of our vision of "Operational Excellence".

Responsibilities/Duties:

- Work as part of the Leadership Team to help envision, assess and realize current and future business opportunities for the company.
-Create and implement production plan, budgets and forecasts to attain the company's financial goals.
-Hire, train and manage all manufacturing and purchasing personnel including administrative support.
-Responsible for product design, engineering support, manufacturing and manufacturing support, both domestically and globally, materials management, logistics, and equipment and facilities maintenance.
-Analyze activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.
-Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes for greater efficiency assuring we continue adhering to all corporate and governmental environmental health and safety policies.
-Provide cross-functional support of Sales/Marketing initiatives designed to enhance and extend current Jessup Manufacturing product offering.

Education and Experience:

-Bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering - MBA desired
-Experience in manufacturing and distribution businesses, large and small
-Multiple plant experience
-Production planning, scheduling and inventory control
-Supply chain management
-Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement processes
-Significant experience in operations management with increasing responsibilities for structuring, planning, direction and implementation.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Excellent analytical and organizational skills
